Hanks Very Excited About The Lost Symbol

Tom Hanks aka Robert Langdom is very excited about the new installment of the handsome faculty professor adventures, he says he can’t wait to read the new adventure of the character he has played twice in the two Blockbusters “The DaVinci Code” and “Angels & Demons”.

Hanks who was attending the Japanese premiere of Angels & Demons commented on his expectations for the new book The Lost Symbol where he expects to reprise his role as Robert Langdon when the movie is released.

Up until now the Vatican has condemned both movies based on the adventurous character because it considered both the books and the movies as a serious offense to the institution and to God.

Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks has said he can’t wait to read The Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown’s new book which will be published around the world on September 15th (you can preorder  the hardcover edition of The Lost Symbol here at $15,63).

According to the Vatican, the dismissal of the movies by them is only a publicity stunt by director Ron Howard to get more press coverage on the movie.

Some sources close to the Vatican define the movie as “innocuous entertainment which hardly affects the genius and mystery of Christianity” and another one “modest quality that was saved only by the presence of Tom Hanks”.

We had to mix our people with tourists

Producers of the soon to be released movie Angels & Demons found themselves with a big setback when they were ready to start shooting the movie. The Vatican not only forbid the move to be shot within the vatican city but ban movie producers from shooting in any other church or exterior of a church. According to Archbishop Velasio De Paolis, head of the Vatican’s Prefecture for Economic Affairs, he said that Brown’s books were blasphemous and “turned the Gospels upside down.” while father Marco Fibbi, who is the spokesman for the diocese of Rome, added: “Normally we read the script, but this time it was not necessary. The name Dan Brown was enough.”

In order to overcome this serious difficulty when filming the sequel movie of the prequel book of The DaVinci code the team had to disguise themselves as simple tourists to be able to take photos of the interiors of the Vatican and churches where the novel take place.

Ron Howard, director of both The DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons said “We didn’t shoot at the Vatican officially. But cameras can be made really small,” this seems to have infuriated The Vatican representatives who see Dan Brown’s work as blaspemous.

Special eefics supervisor says that in order to overcome the Vatican’s ban a the difficulties that it brought to the production they had to desguise themselves in order to do the photo surveys “The ban on filming put us in serious difficulty because we were not able to carry out the photographic surveys necessary to reconstruct the setting,..So for weeks we sent a team of people who mixed with tourists and took thousands of photos and video footage.”

Angels & Demons is the prequel of the successful film The DaVinci code based on the same book by Dan Bron

Dan Brown’s next book The Lost Symbol will be published later this year after years of delays and changes of title.
