The cover of Dan Brown’s latest novel to be released on September 15th. has just been unveiled.

This novel is one of the best guarded secrets with myriads of speculations going around the web, the truth is that nobody except Dan Brown and his publishing company know what the story is about.

What we know for sure is that Robert Langdom will again be the main Character and that the whole story will span in about 12 hours of his life in Washington D.C. and we know that because Dan Brown himself has confirmed it, the rest of the stories that go around the web are pure speculation.

The book will be available to the public at the discounted price of $16,17 preorder here in the states and only £9,79 preorder here in the UK a great bargain for a first edition hardcover version

As you can see both covers feature the Capitol and while the American version features a wax seal the English version features a Freemasons key on fire, all these are clues to the storyline of the book, so go ahead and guess the storyline of the Lost Symbol, what do you think these cover mean?

Tom Hanks aka Robert Langdom is very excited about the new installment of the handsome faculty professor adventures, he says he can’t wait to read the new adventure of the character he has played twice in the two Blockbusters “The DaVinci Code” and “Angels & Demons”.

Hanks who was attending the Japanese premiere of Angels & Demons commented on his expectations for the new book The Lost Symbol where he expects to reprise his role as Robert Langdon when the movie is released.

Up until now the Vatican has condemned both movies based on the adventurous character because it considered both the books and the movies as a serious offense to the institution and to God.

Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks has said he can’t wait to read The Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown’s new book which will be published around the world on September 15th (you can preorder the hardcover edition of The Lost Symbol here at $15,63).

According to the Vatican, the dismissal of the movies by them is only a publicity stunt by director Ron Howard to get more press coverage on the movie.

Some sources close to the Vatican define the movie as “innocuous entertainment which hardly affects the genius and mystery of Christianity” and another one “modest quality that was saved only by the presence of Tom Hanks”.

Dan Brown’s latest novel The Lost Symbol is ready to preorder already on Amazon for £9.49, a price that surely will go up once the publishing date gets closer.

Order it now and Amazon will guarantee you the price of £9.49 even if the official price goes up, that’s even cheaper than the price of the book in the American version of Amazon.

This is Dan Brown’s latest book about the adventures of Robert Lagdom , according to Dan Brown’s publishers:

The Lost Symbol is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown’s No. 1 international phenomenon with 81 million copies in print worldwide and the UK’s biggest selling paperback novel of all time, and it will once again feature Dan Brown’s unforgettable protagonist, Robert Langdon.

This book’s narrative takes place in a 12-hour period, and from the first page, Dan’s readers will feel the thrill of discovery as they follow Robert Langdon through a masterful and unexpected new landscape.

Then they go on to explain Dan Brown’s impressions on writing the book:

The Lost Symbol is a brilliant and compelling thriller. Dan Brown’s prodigious talent for storytelling, infused with history, codes and intrigue, is on full display in this new book. ‘This novel has been a strange and wonderful journey’, says Dan Brown himself. ‘Weaving five years of research into the story’s 12-hour timeframe was an exhilarating challenge. Robert Langdon’s life clearly moves a lot faster than mine’.

A promissing novel that for sure will catch the attention af Dan Brown’s fans and will probably earn him a few more.

Robert Langdom is the main character in two other Dan Brown novels: The DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons.

Producers of the soon to be released movie Angels & Demons found themselves with a big setback when they were ready to start shooting the movie. The Vatican not only forbid the move to be shot within the vatican city but ban movie producers from shooting in any other church or exterior of a church. According to Archbishop Velasio De Paolis, head of the Vatican’s Prefecture for Economic Affairs, he said that Brown’s books were blasphemous and “turned the Gospels upside down.” while father Marco Fibbi, who is the spokesman for the diocese of Rome, added: “Normally we read the script, but this time it was not necessary. The name Dan Brown was enough.”

In order to overcome this serious difficulty when filming the sequel movie of the prequel book of The DaVinci code the team had to disguise themselves as simple tourists to be able to take photos of the interiors of the Vatican and churches where the novel take place.

Ron Howard, director of both The DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons said “We didn’t shoot at the Vatican officially. But cameras can be made really small,” this seems to have infuriated The Vatican representatives who see Dan Brown’s work as blaspemous.

Special eefics supervisor says that in order to overcome the Vatican’s ban a the difficulties that it brought to the production they had to desguise themselves in order to do the photo surveys “The ban on filming put us in serious difficulty because we were not able to carry out the photographic surveys necessary to reconstruct the setting,..So for weeks we sent a team of people who mixed with tourists and took thousands of photos and video footage.”

Angels & Demons is the prequel of the successful film The DaVinci code based on the same book by Dan Bron

Dan Brown’s next book The Lost Symbol will be published later this year after years of delays and changes of title.

Following the success of The Da Vinci Code from 2003 Dan brown will publish his third novel featuring the Harvard University professor Robert Langdon, according to some reports the book will take place in Washington D. C. and will evolve around a Freemasons intrigue storyline.

According to Dan Brown’s American publishers the book is “a brilliant and compelling thriller” and very much well worth the wait, with an initial printing of 6,5 million copies, this will be the largest first printing for that house.

Dan Brown’s promotional website state that the hidden puzzles in The Da Vinci Code ‘s jacket gives some hints about The Lost Symbol storyline.

The author himself has stated that wirting this book has been a “strange and wonderful journey”, originally the book was going to be named The Solomon Key which led hordes of fans to talk about how to decipher the key and speculation about the plot, so the new title is as vague as possible, so the details of the novel can remain secret until officially published.

The new novel can be preordered here from Amazon at $15,63:
